The USD lost ground as commodity currencies rebounded. AUD climbed 0.6% to 0.781, NZD rose 0.4% to 0.749, and CAD also gained 0.2%. EUR was steady at 1.102, while USDJPY inched back to 120. KRW and TWD led gains in EM Asia FX, albeit only modestly by 0.3% and 0.2% respectively. PBoC kept the fix largely steady for a second day at 6.1533, below most model estimates, driving USDCNH lower to 6.273. USDMYR fell below 3.65 following a better than expected trade surplus.
