The pair started in Asia at $1.3610 after a $1.3596 to $1.3653 range marked during the US session last night. Euro-dollar spent the initial few hours of Asian trade hovering just under $1.3610, but pulled back further as the dollar continued to gains following last night’s strong jobs numbers. Euro-dollar slipped to $1.3604, where a small bounce was then seen to $1.3609. The pair resumed its downtrend soon after and marked a low of $1.3602 but managed to hold off from any move to break below $1.3600. The pair staged another rebound around mid-monring, and with a little bit more momentum thistime, managed to take back the $1.3610 opening level. Euro-dollar was last at $1.3608, with further losses likely to have traders eyeing a move down toward last night’s $1.3596 low, while stops are expected on a break below $1.3595, demand then noted down near $1.3575.
