EUR/USD Analysis

The release of the FOMC minutes last night saw the euro spike, first to nearly $1.1400 and then $1.1410, before it slipped back below $1.1400 to close at $1.1397. The euro started this morning with a further mild pullback to $1.1393 before it then edged up to a $1.1400/05 range. Euro-dollar was held there for a few hours before it broke higher around mid-morning as the dollar continued to weaken. Euro-dollar got up to $1.1418 and was then lifted further to a high of $1.1424, where it has since been held. There hasn’t been a lot of developments concerning Greece and its debt negotiations but worries continue to hang over the market. Euro-dollar last traded at $1.1418
