EUR/USD Analysis

The pair traded at fresh 2014 lows of $1.2093 before it ended the year on Tuesday and started this morning at $1.2103. Early market action saw the pair mark a $1.2084 to $1.2109 range with noted stops getting triggered on its early move below $1.2095. Euro-dollar faced continued selling pressure through the Asian morning as worries about coming elections in Greece and over the ECB’s likely plan of action eroded confidence in the single currency. Euro-dollar fell to a $1.2048 low for the session this morning but has yet shied away from a test of the $1.2043 2012 low so far. The pair last trades at $1.2058. Stops are noted topside above $1.2125, $1.2150 and $1.2200 today and on the downside below $1.2040 and $1.2000.
