EUR/USD Analysis

The pair traded a $1.2677 to $1.2761 range during last Friday’s global day before it started at $1.2691 this morning. Early market action saw euro-dollar head lower, briefly running into mild demand at $1.2680 but quickly sliding through as these failed to keep the pair up. Euro-dollar went down to a $1.2667 even before Asian markets were fully underway, but recovered a bit after that. The pair traded back above $1.2680 soon after but failed to make further ground beyond $1.2688 as the US dollar stayed bid through the morning. Late morning dealings saw euro-dollar trapped in a $1.2673 to $1.2683 range and the pair was last quoted at $1.2671. Bids are reported below this morning’s $1.2667 low, from around $1.2660/50, with stops noted on a break below $1.2645 before more bids are seen toward $1.2600.
