While Graeme Wheeler is understandably nervous about the dairy industry’s near-term prognosis, suggestive of more clouds on the OCR horizon, there are commodity bright spots too. And so the more the Governor can help get the TWI down, the more it leaves open the window to press on with cash rate normalization down the track.
