AUD underperformed in Asia trading, down 0.6% to 0.928 on the back of a weak employment report. This dragged AUDNZD lower to 1.097. Elsewhere, USDJPY rose slightly to 102.2 and EUR inched higher to 1.338. In EM, USDCNY tested a low of 6.1563 today before bouncing slightly higher to 6.1606, despite a largely steady fix at 6.1670. USDINR also came off the high overnight to 61.285. Most other Asian currencies weakened, led by a 0.4% decline in PHP and 0.2% fall in MYR.
