The pair also spent a quiet morning session in the Asia-Pacific respecting the limits of its US trading range on Friday. The pair opened at $1.3603 this morning, after Friday’s $1.3592 to $1.3610 range marked during the US hours. It pulled back a few notches in early dealings to around $1.3600 but extended the lows further down to $1.3597 around mid-morning. A mild rebound followed that as Friday’s session low held firm and euro-dollar inched up to $1.3605 in the late morning. It was last at $1.3604. The $1.3564-76 support region and $1.3651 resistance region are key for the euro at the start of thenew week. Bollinger bands are noted at $1.3551 and $1.3680 and it should be remembered that closes outside these parameters are unlikely and should serve toinitially limit follow through. Stops are noted above $1.3660 and $1.3700, as well as below $1.3560 and $1.3500.
