EUR/USD Analysis

The pair started out at $1.3605 this morning after last night’s $1.3591 to $1.3609 range during the US session, and then edged back up to the US high again in early dealings. It saw a mild dip as euro-yen retreated to the morning lows but the weaker dollar tone kept the euro supported and it re-visited $1.3610. Again the gains were not sustained amid rumored decent-sized offers at $1.3620 and euro-dollar slowly drifted lower to eventually trade a new low for the session at $1.3603 in the early afternoon. There’s been hardly any recovery from there but the pair remained off the lows traded overnight. Euro-dollar was last at $1.3603 with stops beyond this morning’s high from $1.3645, ahead of resistance at $1.3670/77, the latter marking the 200-day moving average, and further offers then seen from $1.3680, up to $1.3700. The downside contains minor bids near the $1.3591 US low from $1.3590, larger bids seen then near $1.3576.
