Consistent with the overall pro-risk tone, the dollar lost ground against Asian currencies. USDJPY made new local lows around 101.25, again diverging from the small rally in the Nikkei. This came despite a disappointingly small recovery in Japanese May IP (+0.5% mom versus 0.9% expected).Within Asia, IDR outperformed. USDIDR fell by 1% to 11868, while most of the rest of the regional currencies saw gains of 0.1%-0.3%.
