Lower US Treasury yields overnight weakened the dollar slightly. EURUSD rose to 1.3743 and USDJPY slipped to 102.96. AUDUSD softened on the Asian open, but recouped losses to trade at 0.9281 despite a fall in the NAB business confidence index. Most EM Asia currencies rose a bit against the dollar, led by a 0.2% rise in the THB. China fixed USDCNY 30pips lower to 6.1527.
