AUD stole the spotlight in FX, rallying towards 0.92 on RBA Stevens’ speech. This helped boost AUDNZD to 1.0696. The rest of the G10 FX complex was more subdued. EUR largely held onto gains at 1.3813, close to levels before yesterday Draghi comments. USDJPY attempted to break higher to 102.40 before easing to 102.28.The PBoC fixed USDCNY higher for the first time this week to 6.1440, driving USDCNY and USDCNH higher to 6.2085 and 6.1971. The KRW staged a nice rally to 1074 on exporters’ demand and INR extended gains to 60.27. In contrast, the THB and PHP were largely flat.
