Carney’s comments on QE push sterling higher
Yesterday’s session was again rather uneventful. EUR/USD reversed its gains eked out on Wednesday. Overnight, BoE governor Carney said there was no case for more QE. Sterling jumped higher towards major resistances against both the euro and dollar. However, it might not be enough to break these levels, even as sterling is clearly the market’s current favorite.
