Currencies: dollar succeeds only cautious rebound after the payrolls
The dollar was under pressure ahead of the payrolls as currency markets feared a poor report. This fear was not justified as the report was slightly better than expected. Even so, the rebound of the dollar was not really convincing, given the recent strong losses. USD/JPY was the exception to the rule. The pair gained more than 3 yen, off the correction low.
