Also sees a relatively quiet morning today although concerns about Greek debt negotiations continue to nag. EUR/USD opened in Asia at $1.1410, and spent the early part of the morning holding a narrow $1.1396 to $1.1413 range. Choppy market conditions persisted in the early hours of the session although the euro showed little interest in breaking out of its morning range. It saw a a bout of weakness in the late morning here, just before the BOJ decision, which traders blamed on a sharp move lower in euro-swiss. There was little lasting impact on euro-dollar though and the pair managed to hang on above $1.1400. It last traded at $1.1405. Initial support lies at $1.1360 (21 DMA) with resistance then noted at $1.1457, which marks the 61.8% fibo retracement of the pair’s $1.1679 to $1.1098 fall.
