In FX, USDJPY edged lower to 117.08 but most G10 pairs were steady. EURUSD was unchanged around 1.155 and EURCHF around parity. Across EM Asia, USDCNY opened to a two-week high of 6.224 on the back of the weak equity performance, and a higher USDCNY fix to 6.1230, before easing slightly. MYR appreciated to 3.550 initially but has since reversed all gains to 3.562. USDINR gapped lower to 61.6 on the open.
