EUR/USD Analysis

The pair started this morning’s session at $1.2152, just off yesterday’s $1.2143 session low and initially held a $1.2150 to $1.2162 range in early dealings. Worries persisted over events in Greece ahead of next month’s snap elections and fears of new twists in the saga over Greek debt. Euro-dollar slipped to $1.2144 around mid-morning and losses picked up pace soon after as euro-yen also deflated. Euro-dollar extended the lows down to $1.2132 and has since seen only a marginal recovery to $1.2135 last. Talk of sellers ahead, mostly in the region of yesterday’s Asian high of $1.2220, with more offers then seen at $1.2270. Below today’s session low sees a noted expiry then coming in at $1.2130 and then strong bids cited at $1.2100 before layers of stops are then seen at $1.2097/95.
