The EUR and the JPY held steady in Asia, trading at 1.274 and 108.1 respectively. The NZD was also unchanged at 0.793 ahead of Fed and RBNZ decisions, while the AUD edged higher to 0.886. USDCAD was a big mover, down 0.3% to 1.116. Most EM Asian currencies gained, with the exception of the THB, which fell 0.1% on the day. USDKRW traded down to 1046 at the open but seemed to be facing BoK resistance. Similarly, the INR has pared gains to 61.29. The PBoC fixed USDCNY 16pips lower to 6.1405.
