The pair started the day at $1.2669 after a $1.2587 to $1.2682 range during the US session overnight. Euro-dollar stared the Asia-Pacific day with another move higher, gaining to a $1.2683 high in early dealings before running aground. Euro-dollar then reversed course as US dollar gains began to pick up some steam, led by dollar-yen, which in turn pushed the euro down to $1.2647. It extended the low to $1.2639 where there was a pause which allowed euro-dollar to retrace a bit to $1.2652. Euro-dollar then resumed its decline after that, sliding to a $1.2628 low before minor demand at $1.2625 then cushioned the falls. Euro-dollar last trades at $1.2635, talk of strong offers in the region of the session high and above, at $1.2680 and $1.2700, keeping the upside limited for now.
