A light data calendar today. The only notable release is the second revision of US Q3GDP. Growth is expected to be revised slightly higher from the first estimate of 4.2%q/q (ann.), reflecting that private consumption has been stronger than previouslyreported.
We also have a couple of ECB speeches. The governor of the central bank ofBelgium, Luc Coene, is scheduled to speak at 12:15 CET and the governor of Bank ofLatvia, Ilmars Rimsevics, is scheduled for 13:00 CET. Focus is on a possible softtarget for the size of the ECB’s balance sheet.
There are a number of potential rating announcements today. It cannot becompletely ruled out that Fitch will put a negative outlook on its current triple-Arating of Finland in light of the recent deterioration in Finland’s growth outlook. S&Pcould potentially announce a rating decision on Sweden and Austria and Moody’smight announce a rating decision on ESM and EFSF.
