Polls show positive momentum for the “yes” camp
A “yes” vote for the Scottish independence, which was considered not so long ago an impossibility, is now highly possible. With only days to the 18 September referendum, all polls confirm erosion in the “No” camp and a shift towards the “Yes” from undecided voters. As a result, the gap between the two camps has narrowed and, for the first time, a poll (YouGov/The Sunday Times published on 7 September) put the “Yes” camp in the lead. However, even if this poll highlights the real possibility
to see Scotland separates from the UK, polls in aggregate call for a (narrow) win of the pro-union camp.
