The dollar rallied across the board in early Asian trading, led by USDJPY, but seemingly without a trigger. USDJPY jumped to 104.81, EURUSD dipped to 1.3118, and AUDUSD fell to 0.9303. The September RBA statement had no discernable impact on the AUD. All EM Asia currencies weakened against the dollar, but the KRW and MYR underperformed, falling 0.4% to 1017.25 and 3.1695 respectively.
