The dollar weakened slightly in Asia. Although AUDUSD fell to 0.9298, possibly in partial response to a Terry McCrann article suggesting rate cuts remain a possibility, EURUSD rose to 1.3206 while USDJPY slipped to 103.83. In EM Asia, the KRW outperformed, rising 0.2% to 1018.19 to the dollar. Most other EM Asia currencies are up slightly against the dollar. USDCNY fixed 10pips higher, but USDCNY and USDCNH are marginally lower.
