EUR/USD Analysis

The pair opened at $1.3192 this morning in Asia after having traded a new 2014 low of $1.3184 during yesterday’s Asian session. Euro-dollar encountered mild selling in early trade, with the pair initially slipping to $1.3186. Losses built up as euro-yen sank to its session low and euro-dollar followed suit, sliding through Monday’s low for a new 2014 low of $1.3172. The euro however began to recover after that, with various accounts spotted bidding the pair up as the US dollar ran into profit-taking interest. The rebound picked up into the late morning, and euro-dollar was lifted back through $1.3200 for a high so far of $1.3208. It was last at $1.3203 but faces sellers ahead from around $1.3220.
