The pair opened at $1.3422, just off last night’s US high of $1.3425, but has since failed to make further headway, with the pair trading a low of $1.3420 in very early dealings. The pair continued to drift lower as the morning wore on, slipping to $1.3418 about an hour after Japanese stocks opened. Losses continued through the morning, with euro-dollar then sliding to a $1.3415 low before rebounding. Euro-dollar recovered to $1.3421 in the late morning but again found its moves stunted amid a lack of conviction. Euro-dollar was last at $1.3421. Ahead, dealers are expecting the lackluster Asian session to continue today in the European session. There’s talk of demand placed down at $1.3400, with stops then seen on a break below that. On top, sellers are at $1.3445/50 and $1.3460.
