USDJPY has risen to 101.47, but the dollar failed to sustain an attempt to rally against the AUD and EUR. AUDUSD has recovered to 0.9384, flat to its open after RBA Governor Stevens failed to mention the currency in a speech today. EURUSD has edged up to 1.3526. In contrast, most EM Asia currencies have strengthened today. USDKRW has pushed down to 1024.50, USDIDR is lower at 11,555, USDINR moved down and is trading 60.2350 and USDPHP is testing its recent lows by trading down to 43.338. USDCNH fixed 3pips lower to 6.1544.
