EUR/USD Analysis

A very quiet session for the euro this morning after it opened just under the US session high of $1.3526, at $1.3523. There was very little interest in the euro in early dealings but the pair managed to hold above $1.3520. Early gains in Japanese stocks instigated a stronger euro-yen tone, and euro-dollar then edged up toward $1.3530. The pair however ran into selling interest at $1.3540/60 and was capped at $1.3530. It remained within the morning’s $1.3521-30 range through the rest of the session but saw only sporadic deals as the European start approached. Euro-dollar was last at $1.3525. Stops are noted above $1.3550, $1.3590 and $1.3600 with small stops seen below $1.3510 and more substantial stops below the 2014 low of $1.3477. An additional concern for bears are daily studies lingering around oversold levels which may alsolimit downside followthrough until they correct back to more neutral levels
