EUR/USD Analysis

The pair opened at $1.3537 this morning in Asia, after a $1.3521 to $1.3547 range on Friday in the US. It traded lower from the start of the session, quickly losing ground to a $1.3531 low as risk appetite was eroded by worries over events in Iraq and Ukraine. The pair however ran into demand off the lows and rebounded in very thin trading conditions, finding its way back through the opening levels, for a high of $1.3544. That move also ran out of steam and euro-dollar eased again to the $1.3530 region soon after. Another round of euro bids nudged the pair back up to $1.3541 in the late morning, and was last at $1.3542. Bids down at $1.3530, extending to the $1.3510/00 area areseen containing the downside while offers are noted at $1.3550, just past the Friday night US session high of $1.3546.
