MNB is about to cut rates by 10 basis points
Poroshenko’s victory could calm the situation in Ukraine
The Central European currencies strengthened on Friday but except for the forint the gains were small. Forint´s strengthening supports a case for another interest rate cut in Hungary this Tuesday (we expect 10 bps) that was already indicated by
central bank’s president Matolcsy.
