EUR/USD Analysis

A very quiet start for the pair after it opened at $1.3870 this morning as it kept to a tight $1.3860 to $1.3872 range early this morning. The pair had tested rumored strong offers in the $1.3880 to $1.3900 region last night getting up to $1.3889 in European trade but failed to make significant headway. Euro-dollar encountered fresh selling around mid-morning, with some dealers linking that to news of rising tensions in Ukraine amid reports of clashes with pro-Russian separatists. Still, the losses were limited to $1.3857and euro-dollar has since continued to trade near that low as trade activity slowed further. Euro-dollar was last at $1.3863, and for now, is seen consolidating within current ranges ahead of US jobs data tonight. Residual are offers seen toward $1.3900, while bids and stops are currently noted at $1.3850
