USDJPY is tracking marginally higher today after a fall to 96.60 yesterday. However, Asian stocks were posting gains this morning after stronger-thanexpected Chinese trade data and news that the Bank of Japan would leave its stimulus activity unchanged. The Nikkie had advanced 1.5% by mid-day. The Shanghai Composite, Kospi and Hang Seng were each advancing towards the 1% mark.

The AUDUSD measure was on the rise at 0.906 and gains were being charted by EURUSD at 1.3336. GBP was steady at 1.5496.
