The Canadian has only managed a sideways consolidation effort following the fresh spike low earlier in the week. Unfortunately we haven’t seen a definitive fundamental headline shift to suggest that the Canadian is poised to make a significant bottom. In fact, those long the Canadian probably have to fear this morning’s US non-farm payrolls results as that could rekindle selling pressure on the Canadian and perhaps usher in more new lows ahead.
