The pair started today’s trade at $0.8803 after easing off a $0.8827 high during the US session last night. The aussie ran into early selling, which briefly pushed it down to $0.8792 before it attempted to recover through $0.8800 again. The attempt failed and the aussie then spent the rest of the morning heading south. Aussie-dollar dropped to $0.8781 and the recovered marginally to $0.8798 after the release of Australia’s new home sales data, which helped to counter a rather downbeat reading of the China services PMI from CFLP. Aussie-dollar’s losses resumed after that and the pair then traded a morning low of $0.8774 before another early afternoon rebound took it to$0.8793. The pair was last at $0.8792. Stops are noted below $0.8760 and above $0.8840 ahead of tonight’s US jobs data release
