The rate reached a high of $0.9324 and then dropped back to a low of $0.9309 in mid-morning dealings. Another recovery followed in thin trading conditions, with aussie-dollar then trading back through $0.9320, and was last at $0.9321. Initial support remains at the $0.9288 Aug 14 low with a close below to see the focus shift back to the $0.9176-0.9202 region. The $0.9341-74 resistance region remains key this week.
