JPY opened this morning at Y102.19 while euro-yen started at Y136.78. Early risk on trades saw the cross being lifted to Y136.87, sparking a move higher in dollar-yen as well, to Y102.27. The cross backed away a bit to Y136.79 but rebounded as Japanese stocks traded higher higher in the opening hour of the session. Euro-yen got up to Y136.89 high and dollar-yen tracked the move up to a session high of Y102.37. The cross again ran into resistance and dropped back to a Y136.76 low while dollar-yen eased to Y102.28 before finding support. Dollar-yen was last at Y102.29 while euro-yen was last at Y136.78. Dollar-yen offers around Y102.50 remain in place, above the 200-day moving average at Y102.32. Immediate support seen at Y102.07/05 area of the US session low, with the 00-day also there at Y102.08, with stops seen below Y102.00 andmore below Y101.50
