AUD/USD Analysis

Aussie saw a quiet start to the morning today, as it opened at $0.9275 and spent the initial hours holding in a $0.9275 to $0.9280 range. China CPI and PPI data came out largely on expectation over the weekend and as such have had no impact on the aussie to start the new week. Mild risk-on trades helped lift the aussie up through $0.9280 but there was little follow-through above $0.9281 initially. With no major Australian data on tap today, the aussie continued to shuffle in the $0.9276/81 range through most of the morning. It broke higher in the late morning and edged up to a high of $0.9286 but again struggled to hold those gains in the face of rumored sellers at $0.92890 up to $0.9300. Aussie-dollar was last at $0.9283. Initial resistance remains at $0.9292 with stops noted above $0.9300 today and also above $0.9345 and $0.9375
