Aussie started today’s session at $0.9234 and spent most of the morning hovering about there as it carved out a $0.9222 to $0.9245 range today. Aussie-dollar witnessed small, early gains amid an improved risk environment but settled back in a sideways motion soon after. A weak Chinese yuan fix gave the aussie a mild lift again but offers above the initial morning high and in the $0.9275/80 zone were sufficient to cap the pair while market players were content to sit on the sidelines before tonight’s US non-farm payrolls report. The aussie was last at $0.9235, just about where it had started the day. Stops remain below $0.9200 in the aussie with a break lower then targeting the$0.9121-38 region. Topside stops are noted above $0.9265 and more importantly above $0.9320.
