Aussie opened at $0.9032 this morning and spent the early part of the morning in a narrow $0.9030 to $0.9043 range as the market waited for the release of the RBA minutes. Aussie-dollar was holding at $0.9040 when the minutes were published and aussie-dollar almost immediately slipped to a $0.9015 after the statement. The move was shortlived though as the market digested the details of the statement and sparking a turnaround in aussie-dollar. The pair shot through the early high and went to a $0.9081 high as the market read the statement to suggest Australian interest rates are likely to remain on hold. Aussie-dollar has seen little pullbacks of that high so far, with the pair last at $0.9053. Stops and offers remain to the topside, above the $0.9085 level, while small sell-stops are noted below $0.9050 and $0.9020.
