Consumer confidence measured by a regular Roy Morgan survey rose to a seven year high in Januarysuggesting good growth in consumer spending in the near future. The BNZ-Business NZ PMI held at a highlevel of 56.4 in December and the employment index jumped to a six year high of 55.2.
