Like the rest of the non-dollar currencies, the Canadian is under a fresh washout wave because of the nearly perfect storm of Dollar headlines, weak commodity prices and classic technical damage on the charts. To find support in the Canadian probably requires the use of long term monthly charts and the late 2008-2009 consolidation lows might not provide much support for another 55 ticks!
