Markets are mixed into the NA open, equities are flat, U.S. yields are falling, oil prices are soft and the USD is mixed, outperforming against the other majors and Europeans, underperforming against the growth sensitive currencies, like AUD, NOK and NZD. Today’s session is likely to see some holiday position squaring, but will include the final two Fed speeches before January (with both the dovish Evans and hawkish Lacker providing comments).
