A series of lower highs, ongoing declines in oil prices and the lack of a definitive bounce in the Canadian in the wake of a slide in the Dollar, that seem to suggest that the prevailing trend in the CanadianDollar remains down. In fact, one might have expected the Canadian to have drafted more support from Chinese trade data overnight but instead the Canadian starts the new week out within close-proximity to last week’s lows.
