Aussie started this morning’s session at $0.9319 after marking a $0.9286 to $0.9328 range during the US hours overnight. Aussie-dollar began Friday’s session with a mild dip back toward the US afternoon low of $0.9311 but again encountered minor demand interest, keeping the losses contained at $0.9313. The pair climbed back to $0.9320 and then dropped back to the session low again in very light trading action. That support held and aussie-dollar then made its way northward through the rest of the morning in agradual manner. It traded $0.9324 in the late morning and then topped out at $0.9328 in the afternoon. Aussie-dollar was last at $0.9325. A break above the initial Asian high of $0.9328, also the US session high, could encourage further aussie gains but sellers are noted in place at $0.9350 and at $0.9380, according to dealers
