AUD/USD Analysis

Aussie was in decline almost through the entire early half of the morning after it opened at $0.9623 today. Aussie-dollar slipped to $0.9610 in early trades and then slumped to a morning low of $0.9584 as the early risk-off gripped the market. The move however stopped short of the overnight $0.9570 US session low and stops beneath, while large bids from $0.9560/50 then helped spark off a rebound. This carried aussie-dollar back to $0.9610 before another round of declines was then seen after China money marketsopened. Aussie-dollar staged another recovery in the early afternoon, thanks to the broader US dollar selloff, this time reaching a morning high of $0.9624. Aussie-dollar was last at $0.9611, with those $0.9560/50 bids believed to still be in place while above the session highs, only a break of last night’s $0.9625 peak seen turning the immediate focus higher again.
