High wage growth supports forint
Even though the forint and the zloty got several impulses their exchange rate barely changed against the euro yesterday. Early in the morning, the forint hit its nearly half-year high following the publication of average gross wages in March. Later in the session, however, the forint drifted lower and closed at EUR/HUF 290.
