What to watch for today
USD: Pullback. Our economists expect durable goods to post a small 0.5%mom pullback today, down from 0.7%mom in November. Consensus is set for a much stronger 1.7%mom print, suggesting fairly high disappointment risk. Later in the day, market consensus for December pending home sales is set for a flat print, down from 1.7%mom in November.
