(1,3600) The EUR/DOLL confirmed a positive closing forming even a positive outside day with now 1,3620 – 1,3495 the levels to follow in the coming hours.

EUR/USD: The potentially bearish “UpThrust” the day before yesterday backfired. Additional gains of late show demand and the yearly high of 1.3711 back in Feb now lies within reach.

Asian Currencies Technicals

AUD/USD bounced sharply from ahead of layers of support in the $0.9286-12 region on attempts to head lower since last Friday but continues to stall ahead of the $0.9358 Sept 20 high.

(0,9349) The AUSSIE confirmed a strong closing above the top of the previous session confirming therefore also the small positive day reversal.

USD/CHF Technical Analysis

(0,9050) The USD/CHF formed a positive day reversal after a test below 0,9000; only an hourly closing above 0,9076 will confirm a s/t bottom supporting a little higher levels.

GBP/USD Technical Analysis

(1,6177) The CABLE confirmed some consolidation but the closing was still positive suggesting further upside potential.

EUR/GBP Technical Analysis

(0,8360) EUR/GBP confirmed a negative closing but found good support above 0,8330 for now favouring a rebound.

GBP/JPY Technical Analysis

(158,00) The GBP/JPY formed a negative day reversal but only a daily closing below 158,45 will confirm a s/t top.

EUR/USD: The failed attempt above the Sep high has added a potentially bearish “UpThrust” to consider. A “Lower Range Extension” today (a lower break out of the opening hour range)
