Real GDP rose by 0.8% in QIV. Growth was a touch faster than in recent quarters. And it was a notch above theconsensus centred on a rise of 0.7% (CBA (f): 0.8%) and the implied RBA forecast of 0.6%. Nevertheless, annual growth,at 2.8%, remains in the below-trend groove of the past year. The economy expanded by 2.4% in 2013 as a whole. Thisoutcome was at the low end of the range of the past few years.
