Construction sector prices are quickening. And, just as importantly, it’s inferring a lift in margins, given the construction input price index slowed to a 1.2% annual pace in Q4. The differences are now looking very much like what we saw in the mid-1990s and the mid-2000s when New Zealand’s construction sector was stretching its stride. And we know there’s substantially more to come on this front.
