December’s fall of 22.6k jobs missed market expectations which centred on a 10.k increase {CBA(f) +11.1k}. Thedisappointment in the headline result was compounded by the detail which showed that full-time jobs fell by 31.6k, partiallyoffset by a 9.0k increase in part-time employment. Over the last three months the economy has created just 3.8k jobs.While over the last six months it has shed 15k jobs on a net basis.
